Discs must be regularly and frequently inspected for excessive heat crazing and cracking.

Discs with cracks emanating from mounting holes / slots, inside diameter, scallops, or outside diameter should be changed immediately.

After heavy and prolonged use some surface crazing will often be evident. If this turns into distinct surface cracks which are radiating towards the inside or outside diameter the disc should be changed.

IF IN DOUBT REPLACE

One advantage of fitting a Tevo Big Brake Kit to your Model 3 is that when the discs eventually need replacing, you can unbolt the worn discs and fit new ones without having to renew the bells and other parts.

Each kit includes a pair of discs and all the correct bobbins, washers & bolts.

We usually stock discs with the curved groove pattern as shown in the photos. If you prefer a different type of pattern (straight groove, cross drilled, J hook etc.) than please contact us for lead times and any cost difference.

Discs should be installed by qualified personnel. Disc mounting tightening torque - 14Nm.
