Bought these pads for my first track day. Absolutely thrilled with them - standing on the brakes is like hitting a brick wall! Combined with updated fluid these are an excellent option to replace the factory pads which are known to not deal too well with track use.
These pads are a great choice for road and track use. Much better bite and far less fade than the stock rubbish but mild enough for road use. Excellent all rounder.

Racing Brake XT970 Compound
The RB Motorsports Compounds were developed to handle the toughest track braking conditions. They deliver consistent brake torque, are excellent in modulation and highly resistant to wear, friendly to rotors and brake dust is easy to clean.
XT970: Medium initial bite, high friction and brake torque.
These pads are formulated for track/high temperature use, but they can also be used very effectively on the road with EVs which have regenerative braking, as squeal and brake dust isn't usually an issue.
The standard Tesla OE rear outboard pads have spring clips attached to them which locate in the caliper to stop the rattling as they wear. There are no clips on the rear RB pads so special double sided adhesive tape is provided which sticks the outboard pad to the caliper to prevent rattling.

All brake pads are recommended to be bedded-in properly according to the proper break-in procedure to assure optimal performance.
Brake Pad Performance
The overall brake pad performance can be affected by the rotor material and its surface finish, calipers, and brake bias.
These pads may be noisy at low speeds if you use creep mode. We advise using hold mode and in our tests squeal is almost completely eliminated in that mode. The RB range are not ECE R90 approved.
