Performance Friction Z-Rated Brake Pads for Model S/X
Road/track pads for Model S & X to replace the factory-fitted front brake pads.
The front brakes do most of the work on these cars, so for road use we suggest upgrading them and leaving the standard pads in in the rear calipers.
Regenerative braking has largely removed the need for high performance brakes on EVs, but many owners find that when they really need them to work the factory Tesla brakes lack the 'bite' and feel one might expect from such a high performance vehicle.
We've spent several months researching and testing alternatives to the Tesla OE components and can now offer upgrades for the Model S & X. These high performance road/track pads offer a significant improvement over the standard Brembo pads Tesla fit at the factory. They are not designed for extended period on track but will work a lot better than the standard pads.
PFC's Z-Rated compound has been developed for fast road/track day applications. It provides more stopping power and increased fade resistance over the standard OE materials but retains the good qualities of the road pad i.e., low dusting and noise along with low wear rate.

Typical applications: This compound can be used in OE calipers or aftermarket brake kits in applications where an increase in performance is required over the standard OE friction material.
Any competent garage will be able to fit these pads for you. There are no special tools required and the car will not even know you've changed anything.
The correct bedding procedure is included. It is very important to follow this to ensure they perform as expected.
