These rings adapt a wheel rim with a 72.6 mm bore to a 64.1 mm diameter hub and have been specially designed to allow aftermarket rims to fit the Model 3 Performance, which has a step between the hub and rotor dome preventing other spigot rings from seating properly.

They are manufactured to precise tolerances in order to ensure the rim is perfectly centred on the hub prior to tightening the wheel nuts. If you intend to switch between factory Tesla rims and aftermarket rims regularly, we recommend filing 2 or 3 small notches in the lip of each ring where it contacts the rotor dome so you can lever it off if too tight to remove by hand.

Any corrosion on the hub or inside of the rim should be removed and the surfaces cleaned before fitting. A thin coating of copper-based grease can be applied to prevent any future corrosion.
